Open 10am - 4pm entrance £1 with Club layouts, demonstrations, trade stand & refreshments.
From our Wednesday evening meeting of 28th September 2022
Two semi's & a shop for the townsfolk of 7mm narrow gauge Ardgowan built by our Lenny. The aptly named Ardtoget Inn has just been constructed by Alan with more work to be done including a full pub interior and a merry band of boozers calling in after work from the adjacent docks.
View across Lower Tyldsley goods shed and coal yard towards station. This layout will be at our Open Day on Saturday 1st October. We hope to meet you there and chat about what we do on club evenings and show examples of our work. Four layouts will be on view with twelve members demonstrating numerous skills such as tree making, scratch building and kit construction of buildings, locos & wagons in all scales. We have two members who are knowledgeable in repairing steam & diesel locos with a test track in gauges 00 & N together with kit-built garden railway stock & buildings. Our reliable trader Keiths Models from Leicester will be supporting us offering both new and used railway model items at very reasonable prices.
